Where the work happens.
The ore is precisely beneficiated at the mine. It then goes to our micronizing plant, where it is ground to the purity, brightness and particle size each grade calls for.

How barite becomes powder.
Depending on the ore and the grade, we use three separation methods.

Gravity separation
The ore is crushed in two stages by jaw crusher, screened on a circular vibrating screen and then jigged. Two kinds of jig separate the coarse and fine fractions. The result is a high-grade concentrate of over 80%.

Magnetic separation
Wet magnetic separation removes iron-bearing minerals such as siderite. This is how low-iron barite is produced.
03
Flotation
Fine particles and gravity tailings are recovered by flotation, using anionic collectors such as fatty acid alkyl sulfate or alkyl sulfonate, or cationic amide collectors.
